The Fire Service Safety Partnership (FSSP) is a trading style of EFA(T) Ltd, the wholly owned company of the Essex Fire Authority. The partnership engages with other Fire Services from around the UK and Ireland. It also works with private sector companies to enable it to deliver services & excellence to organisations from both countries.
The FSSP previously managed their fire safety seminar bookings using a combination of paper-based systems and spreadsheets. The need arose to combine their manual systems in to one online system.
Working with the FSSP we developed a new training course management system. The system is web-based reducing the load on their internal IT infrastructure. Users can perform a number of automated tasks such as confirmation booking letters via email, follow-up marketing emails, calendar management and extensive reporting.
Some key features of the system are;
The public facing side to the FSSP's training course management
system is their website, which displays the information about
their courses, seminars and takes booking details online.

Trainer diaries are maintained on the system to provide a visual
display of all the trainers schedules for a particular month.
Each trainer has access to their own individual diaries.

A nominal roll is maintained for all seminars and training courses. These contain a list of all attendees with links to quickly access the attendees contact details, their booking information and booking history.
